Lots and lots and lots of people feature in the supply chains that create the clothes on your back and the shoes on your feet. While it’s great to give people jobs the fashion industry sadly has a terrible reputation for the way that these people are treated.
We look out for brands that are transparent about their supply chains and we ask our brands lots of probing questions about this to ensure you can buy the clothes you find on Baobab Avenue with confidence.
Look out for the country where the product is made, and where the material’s from, and see if they mention the name of the factory, and even better see if they’ve signed up to the Who Made My Clothes campaign.
