Finisterre

Finisterre logo

Finisterre is a pioneering outdoor brand committed to sustainability from their choice of materials to designing and creating products that last.

Ethics

Ethical Manufacturing
Finisterre works with factories in China, Turkey, England, Romania, The Czech Republic, Taiwan and Thailand. The details of all factories can be found on their website as well as how recently they have been audited.
Sustainable Materials
Finisterre products are made from a range of sustainable materials including organic cotton, Econyl (recycled nylon) and merino wool. Their merino wool is sourced from fully traceable, guaranteed non-mulesed sheep farms in New Zealand. It also makes products from its offcuts (The Finisterre Fabric Use-Up Project) whereby it repurposes unused quality fabric left over from recycled insulation and waterproof jackets.
Sustainable Packaging
Their sustainable packaging commitment covers everything from the swingtag to the bag you receive your order in. The marine safe garment bags are water soluble, recyclable, and biodegradable. Their mailbags are both recyclable and compostable.
Made in Britain
A selection of products are made in Britain.
Recycled Materials
Some products are made from Econyl (recycled nylon) or unused left over fabric.
Repair Service
Their Lived and Loved service is a paid-for repair service to extend the life of your Finisterre products.
