Ethical Manufacturing
The ethos of Daughters of the Ganges is one of Fair Trade and sustainability. Time is devoted to train artisans to ensure that they have sustainable jobs and new skills to carry with them through their lives. Women that are unable to leave their homes are given raw materials and tools to work from home, making communities more inclusive. Fair and equal wages, sustainable and ethical sourcing and safe work environments are key objectives.
Sustainable Materials
Products are made from brass, mixed metals and glass beads. Materials are sourced from sustainably managed sources and locally when possible. No plastic is used in any of their products.

Products for online orders are packaged in tissue paper and cotton pouches.
Social Projects
They support artisans in marginalised communities by providing them with skills, training, stable incomes and self-sufficiency. They also provide after school programs for their children.
